Starting over

The last two days here have been exhausting, stressful, difficult, challenging, and amazing. It has been a roller coaster of emotions.

Moving here for my husband’s job meant that I had to leave my amazing job that I have had for the last three and a half years. I worked with so many wonderful people that made me want to go to work.

That being said, I am now unemployed, in a new city, with no connections. I don’t know a single person here outside of my husband and 4 kids. I have been so busy with getting ready for this move while playing single mom (my husband was traveling for his new job) that I did not have time to really put out my resume.

I have spent most of the last two days doing just that, and I already have two interviews scheduled for next week! I am very excited and nervous about a new opportunity. Whatever happens I know it is in God’s hands.

On top of applying for jobs, I have been given the opportunity to spend some quality time with my family exploring a new city. We have tried so many new restaurant and done many family activities. We are truly enjoying every moment of this adventure.

We will soon be in our rental house, beginning our new lives here and making new friends. Once we are settled in, the fun will really begin. We will be looking for land! This land will be the fist step of many for us. It will be the beginning of our dream life. God has been so good to us on our journey so far, and we have no doubt that He will continue to bless us along the way.
