We are officially home owners….again. Friday we signed all the paperwork for our new home and over the next month we will start moving our things into our new home. As we move our things I can’t help but feel excited about what is to come.
We have already started our home improvements. First up, a large garden space in our back yard. James and Jimi spent most of yesterday framing it out. Next up if fencing it in and adding the dirt to it. I am so proud of how much Jimi helped with the building so far. In a few short weeks we will have some delicious fresh fruits and veggies.
Although the timing is not perfect, I have faith that God is with us and will watch over us through this. The economy right now is so up in the air but we are both so blessed to still have jobs and to be able to work from home during this all. My job is even entertaining making the work from home part ongoing even after everything starts to open up. We are also grateful that IA has not been hit as hard as many other places, including back home in NC.
