We made it to our rental home today! We will live here with no furniture until Monday and then until we build our dream home. The kids are so excited to be out of the hotel and have a little space.
Benny showed us this by walking so loudly and stomping everywhere he went. New beginnings also are a great time to start new habits.
We are not allowing the kids to have shoes on the carpets, we have to get back into good sleeping habits, reduce the kids screen time, and healthy food choices.
It was so nice today to have good food not ordered out. We may not have our pots, pans, and dishes yet, but I did bring our Instapot to cook with. Tonight we had chicken tacos! They are so easy to make with the Instapot. The link below is the one I use.
Tomorrow we plan on exploring Ankeny more. Can’t wait to see what we can find!
