Welcome back! Today, we left GA and started the long drive to TN. After 10 long hours with 4 kids in the car, we finally made it to TN.
We drove two vans in order to make sure we have everything we need for the almost three weeks we will be homeless. (Our rental will not be available until June 21st and we will be living in hotels.)
In Van #1 was my husband, our dog, Hunter, (2 year old German Shepherd) and Jimi (11). In Van #2 it was Megan (9), Benny (6), Joey (4) and myself. We had to make many pit stops, which I know added a lot of time to our trip. We stopped a several times for gas, the dog, the kids needing the restroom, food, and kids needing the restroom. It was as though every time we were starting to make progress or get through the awful GA traffic, someone would need to use the bathroom.
Before we left GA, our family gifted each of the kids little bags of goodies to occupy their time. My youngest, Joey, got a mystery squishy poop emoji. It was a rainbow one that smelled like chocolate. About 6 hours into the drive my daughter, Megan, turned to her brother and ask him where his poop was. After about 5 minutes of looking around the car, she found it and screams out, “I found the poop! Hey mom smell the poop, it smells so good! I wish I had poop like this, Joey’s poop smells like chocolate.” At this point I start cracking up over her excitement of her brothers poop. Once she figures it out, she starts laughing as well. I never thought in a million years that my kids would be so excited about poop. The rest of the drive there were several poop jokes made.
Here is a shot of the mountains in TN that my daughter took along the way.
Hahaha glad the poop was a hit!
They loved it. Megan wants to buy some poop of her own!
