If you remember, Benny has been very interested in painting rocks for the last couple of months. We have painted them once when he first got interested and a few weeks ago for his birthday he got the paint supplies he needed to do some amazing artwork.
Today we finally had the time to start working on some artistic rocks. Once Benny and I got started his siblings soon wanted to join in. Benny decided that some of his creations he will share with the world. He wants to place them in different spots for people to find and hopefully make them smile. He also wants to have the URL for this blog site to be on the rock so that people can go on to the website and say who they are and where they found it.
If you are one of the people that have found one of our family’s beautiful creations, first off welcome to our blog!! Second please post a comment below of where you found it and maybe a picture of the rock you found. Also, we would like you to either find a new home for it so someone else can find it and we can track where the rock has gone or create your own rock and write our link on it too so we can track it as well.
We are so excited to see how many places his and the rest of the family’s rocks can travel and see all the new creations that each of you have added to this amazing collection. We will use this as a geography lesson for the kids too. We will map out the journey of the rocks we have placed.
We love the idea of the rock’s traveling the world or even just Iowa. We hope to see some amazing places and can’t wait to meet some of the wonderful people that will join in the fun. At the very least we hope to brighten someones day with the treasure they may find.
