This is something I have always wanted to do! I saw on Facebook that we had a local orchard that did apple picking so we decided why not.
They had such a great set up where it was so easy to tell which apples we’re ready and which ones were not. We got to go around and sample the apples and pick them as we munched on apples.
First off the apples we’re so delicious fresh off the tree. I don’t think I have ever tried such yummy apples. The price wasn’t bad either. We were already interested in fruit trees before this experience but I think this has turned our maybe into definitely.
The kids loved being able to sample them and make choices of what types of apples we should get. This will be something I would like to make a yearly visit and in the spring they do strawberries! Check out my next blog to see what we made with the apples.
