These last 2 weeks has been the most difficult and exciting time in my life. Last week I had to say goodbye to some of the most amazing people that I have ever worked with. My coworkers have become family over the last three and a half years and I will miss them so much. This week we have said goodbye to many other friends and family, and as I type this we are on our last stop on the east coast.
We leave in the morning to start heading to the Midwest. Our last trip before leaving the southeast was Savannah, Ga, where we visited some family. We went to the beach, and just as we dipped our toes in we look over and see a huge grey cloud coming quickly. The wind started whipping the sand around and the life guard came running off his stand to get everyone out of the water. People started running for shelter, and us for our car. As we were running the sky opened up and water came pouring down. We all jumped in soaking wet and covered in sand. At least we can say we dipped our toes in the ocean before we left the east coast.
